A message from the Management
 

We regret that we have to inform you that dminor has been removed as a moderator of the MTB forum.

His open, vocal and sometimes-inflammatory berating of ‘old school’ or ‘traditional’ mountain bikes, and of those who equally as vociferously praised them, was, we felt, inconsistent with the inclusive nature of the atmosphere that BikeForums is trying to foster.

We particularly welcome this new influx of membership that does not want anything to do with suspension and who eschew the other technological advances that have been made in the mountain bike realm in the past 20 years. We feel that dminor’s sarcastic and somewhat flippant attitude - and his insufferable boosterism for the more ‘rogue’ aspects of mountain biking (namely the gravity-oriented disciplines) - were counterproductive to the open and free discussion by more enlightened minds.

As such, after this post, we are asking dminor to step down and will decommission the username and identity so that Mr. Minor can have a cooling off ‘time-out’ from the Forums and maybe at some later date rejoin our community with a more civil and constructive persona.

I've only posted in here for a few days and I've been a huge tool. Maybe I've been in the road and ss/fg forums too long if you guys are all this friendly.

Good news, D...I got them to keep you on staph. You will need to do a few exercises that I have prepared...sorta like counciling mixed with role play type scenario crap. I'll PM you so we can get started.

I'm apparently out of touch. If this thread is true, I will officially resign from posting.

We're making progress, Doug is a little closed-minded when it comes to cross country and nooblets who just want a MTB to commute, but he's too much of a BFnet staple to toss aside.
