    :( but a new beginning...

Today I cracked my Switch Sl's rear triangle on frieght train. (What a place to do it..) Now I am in the market for a new frame. My friend and I were checking out my options, and was wondering if there was anything else out there like the Bottle Rocket. (Bit out of my price range) I am looking for something with a bottom bracket height of about 13.9 or 14 and a top tub of around 23. I could get a Thumper for $359, (Clearance) but it is not really singing to me like the Bottle Rocket is.

Thanks for all the feedback, Nate.

Sorry to hear that, WGG. Hope at least that it happened toward the end of your time there.

BR's an amazingly versatile rig; lotta guys rockin' 'em around here. I can't give you any personal feedback, since I've never ridden one; but, really, it's pretty much a shorter-travel version of my Blindside (well, actually the Blindside's a longer-travel version of the BR).

You might not be able to quite get to 14 BB height but you can get it close depending on your headset choice. The medium has a 23" ETT and you might find the cockpit a touch roomier than your Switch (which have always felt a little cramped to me for the size).

Too bad this isn't after the end of the season; I'll be having my Blindside frame up for sale later this year. Did you have fun anyway? And did you boost the creek gap on Dirt Merchant from the dirt ramp or the wood kicker?

D are you going to be on the TR450?
When in doubt, style it out.

How to post full size pictures

No I didnt, makes me sad that I didnt. I have been kinda hurting so I didnt really push myself. Untill the one hip on Freight and I had got my bike perfectly flat, but then both my feet came off my pedals, and I tore my groin muscle... very

The Blind side might be a bit big for me. I like the 6 inch, its a good travel size for me. Hopefully I can get the money with my new job coming up, I have a couple weeks were I am not allowed to even jump.

And my switch is very cramped. I rode my friends Derilict to see how a meduim feels, and now I know how it should feel.
