Wow.. Scuderia you have some really nice rigs.
Attention to deal props for the colors and accents.
very very nice.

victim 07-23-09 04:03 AM

Yea I copied those bikes pics again! Pure bling, love it. More curious about the riding in Singapore though. Maybe post up some trail pics if you got any?

cmdr 07-23-09 05:39 AM

Scuderia,

You have some beautiful bikes, no question. They are detailed well and apparently never ridden. Being as they are such showpieces I would recommend lining the tire logos up with the valve. It was the only thing that distracted me from my total viewing experience.

mcoine 07-23-09 10:56 AM

Scuderia, with a username like that.. you must also have some ferrari's in the garage... might as well post those too.

I'm liking the brown ODI's. Wish I had those.

craigcraigcraig 07-23-09 11:29 AM

can we see more of ^ this ^ bike?

Jimmybug 07-23-09 01:59 PM

I, too, am new on BikeForums. However, I would like to present the antithesis to Scuderia's bikes:
My '99 Giant hand-me-down complete with harvested parts from my bro's busted bike. Gets me through the woods alright, so I'm content!
I just got some wellgo M7 pedals, but don't have the shoes yet :(

A lot of nice rides so far.
For me nothing new since the last thread except a new spoke and some new pics.
Really wanting a new wheel set before this season is up, then its time for a new frame for me, probably will be a Trance XO built up with mostly parts from this little guy:

Hey Scuderia, Do you really ride those bikes or do you just sit around a rub on them?

Thanks. Singapore is a small island and we dun have much purpose built bike trails. We have to bike in neighboring countries like Malaysia or Indonesia. Will post some local trail pictures from this weekend's ride.

... this is a good one... :D I'll let you decide..

leunkstar 07-24-09 06:39 AM

hi jimmybug, nice 99 Giant Rincon. I like those 90's mtb's! Is there a reason you don't upgrade to v-brakes? won't cost that much and gives your bike a more modern look. Same for an ahead setup/fork and a new saddle.

mzeffex 07-24-09 08:07 AM

Well unlike some of you people, my bike ain't pretty, but it sure performs. :D

Thanks! The only reasons I haven't upgraded are being in school and cheapness. I really DO need a new saddle... This probably shows my ignorance, but I wasn't aware of an easy way to convert threaded to threadless. (Is it really that big of an improvement?) If I were to get a new fork, would it be worthwhile to skip the v-brakes and get a disc brake up front? Kinda just thinking outloud, don't mean to hijack the thread. I think I'll start searching the forums! :)
