My new rig. Got it on Friday. Ibex Asta. It's my first full suspension, took it on a pretty challenging trail today and loved it.

My 1997 Kona Hahanna. Only upgrades are new bars and stem. I'm currently sitting on an SLX crankset and shifters, XT derailleurs, Avid single digit 7's, a pair of handbuilt deore/Mavic wheels, and a pair of butterfly bar to transform it into a touring rig.

A Goodwill find a few years ago, a 1999 Specialized Rockhopper. Replaced the Fork/Crank/Shifters, and have been riding it hard ever since. It's not light or modern, but I love it.

The bare frame is a rescued 95 Gary Fisher Hoo Koo E Koo that my son and I are rebuilding. The blue and green one is the first try at a 29er. Awesome so far. Can't wait to break stuff and upgrade.

.....and he's back. Sold the DH bike about 18 months ago as riding DH in this city is just too hard solo and my work schedule makes it hard to get out on the trails wit da boiz. Took that time off the bike, got a horrific beer gut and a pang to slip in again.

So i'm geting in touch with my inner poghzeekeur on a basic Giant hardtail as funds didn't allow too much....whacked on some clipless pedals i had in the shed and that's about it for now. Slowly going to upgrade the steed (new fork first, then driveline) and then eventually do a parts swap to a dually frame when a good one comes along secondhand. The day i picked it up, prior to getting rid of the reflectors and pokey flat pedals:

Simply frothing on being back in the trail riding realm again. Really, really enjoying it - WA has some good trails:

I'm never gone for good, Doug, just on a regularly scheduled hiatus every now and again.

I'm actually going to be in washington state next year, but nowhere near spokane so i guess we won't go for a ride.

Don't count on it...unless you don't want to...son and DiL live in Olympia and we get around a lot. If the timing was right, heck I'd make it a point to be wherever. We should stay in touch. I need to PM you.
