Is this a good wheel? I couldn't find any info on it.

It's for a 7-speed cassette. It's an older model as most new wheels are using an 8/9 hub body.

For the $35 current price it's not bad, but considering you can get a brand new wheelSET (front and back) of comparable quality, but new stock, I'd go to www.pricepoint.com and get a newer set.

Deore hubs (disc ready for future upgrading options) and Sun Rhyno Lite rims, Killer price.http://www.pricepoint.com/detail/120...-Lite-Rims.htm

You can even get a set of LX hubs laced to Sun CR-18 for $75: http://www.pricepoint.com/detail/120...CR-18-Rims.htm

The thing is I needed a new 7 speed cassette also so this rim would be perfect. I just noticed something though, It looks like it might be a different axle type but I'm not sure. My Cannondale M400 has a quick release type but the hole on this wheel looks bigger. Does anybody know?

looks pretty normal to me =]

You can use an 8/9 speed with a spacer to run a 7-speed cassette!
