Question on my new Race Face Bars
so on both ends of the bars, their are measurements indicated by lines followed by a measurement in mm from what im guessing to be the bar end followed by a weight in grams below the measurement at each of the 4 different intervals. What are these markings used for? My first guess was it was for grip placement? how does the weight tie into this. Is this weight subtracted from bike weight if your grips are within that particular line?

No. Those lines are there for people who want to cut their bars to a shorter length. This way they only need to sell a 700mm bar, but if you want 680, 660, 640mm, etc, it shows you where to cut and what the corresponding weight should be.
