Why a 14mm axle? Is it for a BMX or an MTB?
At any rate, DT Swiss makes a 12mm x 135mm Freeride hub, you can probably use that for a 14mm drop-out without the need to use adaptors. http://www.dtswiss.com/Products/Comp...-freeride.aspx . |

you sure it isn't a 12mm axle? or, there are some frames floating around with 15mm rear axles as well. thankfully, things are getting a bit more "standardized" now. |
it very well may be a 15mm axle but the guy i bought it from at go ride told me it was a 14 so.. and its an Ellsworth Dare frame

Can't you just measure your current spacing and axle and make sure of what you're looking for?
|
15mm is the standard for beefed up axles, so that's probably it. You probably don't need a caliper to get close enough, just measure the axle/hub hardware/dropouts and see if they're a bit larger than 14mm.
