The model is a Proflex 2000, I see they listed it as 2000 model year but I suspect it a 98 or so.

I still think that fork is cool. Yeah, I had one on my GT LTS2 back in the late 90's. I suppose weight was the death of that fork . . . but it seemed like a design that could have been improved on and still out there.

It's also really flexy in the unintentional way, and depending on the model year developed play in the fork really easily.

Dan, I've seen you talking scheisse about Girvins and Proflexes in several threads and have to ask: have you ever had a Girvin fork?? They develop slop just about as quickly as a Fox slider does, and like the Fox, can be rebuilt quite easily with bushing kits. Both of which I speak to from experience. My Noleen Carbon Crosslink with Risse Genesis air shock weight well below whatever you're running on your bike. Act like ya know.
