Hate to cramp your style but pulling that out of a roadbike review thread isint them freely giving out the number. He only did it trying to defend his sorry ass in that thread.

or Phone our credit card processor directly:

This number CANNOT answer technical or bike related questions
If the line is busy, please fax your order or try calling again later.
Please do not leave your order information in a message.

If you buy a bike from this place and get screwed its your own fault , there are enough complaints about them in google to fill a 1000 page book.

Aren't there also TONS of happy customers? And tons of silent customers? Are you sure it's not the shear volume and internet based business parts that bring out the quantity of bad issues.

Though, no issues would be ideal. I have heard plenty happily resolved problems.

It's part of their business model. Every time I have interacted with BD or BikeIsland via Email I have gotten a clear and acceptably timely reply. Stay away from them if you don't know what you are doing, need/want handholding or are a sissy.

He's also on mtbr with the highly unique username of "bikesdirect". I suppose if you've had the chance to test a few before ordering something like that might be interesting, but otherwise why bother?

I didn't realize I pulled that out of Roadbike Review, thanks for letting me know. I googled it and it was right there. I posted it here which is ME freely making it available to everyone who comes here.

I didn't realize there was an issue and someone was defending themselves in a thread elsewhere. If you knew of this, why didn't you post it here?

And yes, I agree that it's not cool for ANY company to give a number that leads to a person having to jump rings to get service.

But hey. The number is here now.

He's also here, right on our very own Bike Forums. As you can see, his last visit was today, so if you have a problem, a good idea might be to try to contact him here, via PM.
