the air is really easy to set up.
since the fork is relatively low pressure, I used my frame pump (mini pump for pumping up tires) and just pumped slowly (it has a built in gauge)
Not a problem.
fi nd the best SAG
The best SAG for Cross-country forks is 15–20%, and for
Freeride forks is 25–30% .
In order to calculate the best SAG for your own fork, you will
need to make the following calculation:
SAG = T x S
= total travel
= suggested sinking percentage.
The best SAG is obtained by varying the spring preload
(spring fork legs) or by varying positive air pressure (air fork
put a ziptie around the stancions. Have him sit on the bike, not bouncing and measure how far the fork compresses. (the ziptie will move up to show how far.)
you will want a suggested 25-30% sag rate.
