Picking Chest Protection

I am going to Snowshoe in September and am just going to buy some equipment...I need it anyway ...I am torn between these two. I like the 661, but not the shirt style of it, looks like it could get hot...but the back protection seems to go down further than the Trailstar...the Trailstar looks cooler because it is more open...but the back protection doesn't seem to be as much...anyone have experience with either of these, suggestions?

Do you have separate elbow/forearm protection already? If not I recommend the Rockgardn Flak Jacket.

It will not be too hot for Snowshoe in September.
