MTB shoes - small, wide foot

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can find some spd mtn shoes that are euro size 36 wide?? I currently have a pair of specialized tahoes, but they are too narrow... My old pair of northwave were also too narrow.

Is there a brand that is generally wider than another? If all else fail, is there someone that makes custom shoes??

Thanks!

I have wide feet, my Shimano shoes aren't too bad, but could be a bit wider. I have a pair of Lake road shoes that fit my wide feet well, you may want to check out Lake's line of MTB shoes.

I'm surprised that Northwave are too narrow? They are the only brand that I can comfortably wear with my wide (EEE) feet. Regards, Mark.

My shoe size (US) is 7EEE.
I find it difficult to find any shoes, much less bicycle shoes in my size. New Balance comes the closest, but they don't make bicycle shoes.

OTOH, I ride about 150 miles a week with just sneakers and quality platform pedals.
