SR Suntour Mag 32 Suspension Fork

Recently I purchased an Avalanche 1.0 Gt All Terrain bike with an SR Suntour Mag 32 Suspension Fork. There is no information with the bike about the Suntour Mage 32 Suspension fork and I could find nothing on line explaining how to adjust the fork. There are two adjusters, one at the top of each fork tine. The one on the left fork seems to be were you adjust the spring tension from soft to hard. However, the one on the right seems to 1) shut off the dampening all together or 2) allow for dampening. Question: Is it an on/off choice only? That is what I was told at the bike shop. Or can one move the lever incrementally between on/off? Finally, where might I find any information regarding this matter on line? So far, I haven't found any info on this suspension fork. I assume that is because this is a rather low end suspension fork, but . . .?
