Yes, I rode through what I thought was a puddle, a few metres in I was waist deep in rain water, rather amusing!

The wife and I hit the trails on Monday .... what we thought was a not so deep creek that ran across our single track was a bit deeper this time due to recent rain. The water ended up a bit higher than my BB.

Gotta love having soaked socks/shoes for the remainder of your ride. But if you ain't muddy/dirty you're not having fun!

Up to the shifters in a side channel of the SG river in LB for 20 yards and then a mile and a half up to the skewersm
Quite the mess, brackish too.

Once the water gets over your axles, you can post about "underwater" riding. You're a long way short there.

How you figger? The shifters on my bars were underwater, but not the bars themselves.
Then up to skewers=axles for a lot.

I've actually been through two sets of jockey wheels on my wifes X9 derailleur. seems the bottom one isn't a sealed bearing. Anyone know of a cheap set of sealed ones, Preferably in blue?
