Need some Help

Looking or trying to find an article published during the 90'S THe article was in reference to a frame designer that worked in his basement. He also discussed how he used to race in jeans. Also somewhere in the article talked about a break in and details fo frame building. Also discussed how he sold some designs to Trek I think. I know it is a long shot, but trying to find the article. Thanks

Sounds a lot like Keith Bontrager.

Do a google on him.
