Well, after yesterdays flat, I realized...

How bad of a shape my rear high roller was in. So, off to the shop to go purchase a new rear tire since I'm not working for the summer, so I have time to figure out what works and what doesn't set up wise. Decided to buy a wtb tire instead of maxxis. Decided on a wtb weirwolf 2.1 for the rear I used to like running my old conti explorer pro on the back so it should be a good experience.

I rode one of those in the 2.5 variety. I liked it alright. During cornering on hard surface it tends to roll sloppy when you start to lean. It doesn't seem to transfer well from the center lugs to the outside edges during hard cornering, but you probably won't be riding any hardpack with that tire anyway.

Simple, the places near me don't sell maxxis tires and I can't wait for 1-2 weeks for a tire to show up.
