The benefit? It's fun. Pure and simple fun.





As well, the geometry is far more important than having gobs of travel. Gobs of travel with crappy goemetry will suck in comparison to short travel and geo that is dialled for the bikes intended purpose.

It's a Kent Eriksen "Sweetpost". The Fisher Ferrous pictured is a new warranty frame that replaced a cracked XCal frame. The ti seatpost made quite a difference on the al frame of the XCal. Might be overkill on the steel Ferrous frame though.
