Hello fellow riders!
I'm new to this forum and I hope to get a good start!
Here it goes!
The thing is I'm planning on buying this IDENTITI Dr jekyll slalom frame but I don't know how it rides and I can't get a hold of one to test cuz I live in california and IDENTITI is an english company so (bummer) I trust only on user comments! Tell me how it feels, how does it ride, is it too short? cuz I saw it's a small 21.4" top tube, and the thing is that I own a "large" 2003 p.2 which is 21.5" top tube and 69degree HT angle and when I do an x-up I hit the tire with my foot! even with my 24" wheels! And the identiti is a less slacker frame (71degrees or 70) and shorter, so the problem may seem worse! But I just wanna know if some of you dr jekyll owners have had any trouble of this frame being to short or small; and theres a longer XL size which is 22.4" top tube lenght but it's not available in the color that I want it! SO please help me guys! I'm guiding myself only with the help of forums comments and reviews! I need your help! I'm 5'7" tall if that helps and currently using 175mm cranks (probably too long)...
Thanx! Keep on the ridin'!!

The 69 degree on the p2 is with a 5 in fork I believe. I believe the Identiti is measured with a 4in. When a 5in is put on the Jekyll the HA will be close. Identiti are sold here and I have seen a few. Strong solid frames with similar sizing to the pseries, kona jump series etc...(many companies make them) The longer tt should help the problem with x-ups. As for ride, that varries to much to comment.

What about repositioning the foot a bit. Sound like you are riding on your heel . I have a similar geometry street bike (its my cousins but I have played on it) and with size 15 shoe I have no problems with my foot hitting. A longer tt and a small adjustment on your foot may fix the problem entirely.

Hey thanx for your comment! I've tried re-possitioning my foot, and believe me, I've jumped with just the grip of my toe! And it still hits my tire!
Maybe it's because I use 175mm cranks, or the frame is small when theres a sticker that says large; I don't know! A lot of people say they don't have trouble with that bike (the p.2) but I do! And I'm not that tall either, nor have a huge foot! I use 9.5 shoe size and I'm 5'7" tall! I think I'm buying some shorter cranks (165mm) and buying the standard sized identiti...I think for my stature the XL frame is gonna fit lil too long for my taste...But I'm still confused and desperate! Keep on posting!

The short cranks will really affect any riding on trails etc...but yeah that should work to fix the problem.

I just can't believe you are hitting it with your foot on a 24" wheel. Thats just nuts. Good luck with it, I can't think of much else that will affect it. Unless this is a defective frame. BTW you have described it when you bar spin the wheel is almost hitting the pedal. That just sounds way off to me as on my cousins bike there is tonnes of clearance between the pedal and wheel during a bar spin. Sounds fishy.

Good luck.
