I strike my comment about going with Nev R / Excav F next time 'round. I'm gonna give those a whirl.

not having much experience with many tires i never know how big to go on the size. The smaller ones are a bit faster i would think but less grip? is the speed/weight factor enough to run 1.95 instead of 2.2?

I will never run 1.95 again.

Bigger tires = lower pressures, better grip, smoother ride

Get your license key for WinSnap, Ed.

Slant 6 recommends itself on the name alone. Wonder when they'll come out with some 440s?

WinSnap is free if'n ya wanna advertise for them...which I do

440 will be soon to come followed by a 426hemi...then they'll come out with an EC392 with whitewalls.

I want my own signature tire. It could be something like this:

Hey, ive got a pair of nevegals 2.1 i think they are great! Awsome grip and they look cool also. Though probably Kenda should make them lighter, beacuse for going downhill thats no problem, but for going uphill, weight is very important and make my bike very heavy!

My 2.5 Nevs go uphill pretty well. I think the condition of my engine may be a more limiting factor than my tires .

So...regarding the Slant Six.

If I can get enough people here to request it...maybe I can get a pair pre 2010 and get y'all a few ride reports so that when they come out, you can jump on them.

Consider this a petition with an electronic signature.

Yes do. I have some M-word tires on the XC hardtail that really should be changed before the summer races. It would help to know if these are going to be the ones or not.
