Good Mountains in Australia

So I've decided that I need to get out of BC and try Mountain biking in different parts of the world. Starting with the land down under. So what I'm looking for are any good mountains I could bike on/work at during there summer.

For starters, they just had the '09 MTB World Champs in Canberra, at a place called Mt Stromlo.

Check out NoBMoB as well, lists some good trails. Unfortunately, you'll have next to no chance of working at these places though. They're all semi-formal trails, rather than planned mountain bike parks (except Stromlo).

New Zealand has some quality MTB trails, only a brief flight across The Ditch.

Wow, to have worn out all the trails at Mt. Washington, Seymour, Whistler, Sun Peaks, Silver Star, Fernie and Kicking Horse to the point that you are bored and looking to move on . . . .

No sympathy for you.
