    Kenter Whoops! On ONE wheel!

Here's a short video I shot 12/4/09 riding my Mountain Unicycle at the famous Kenter "Whoops", and having a blast! Impossible get the necessary speed or big air like you guys can on *two* wheels, and because most of the bigger whoops have sheer drops on the non-ramp side, with hard pan ditches at the bottom, I can't make the long jumps to the next ramp!

This place was/is, of course, built for bikes to jump from one to the other, ramp to ramp. Some have pretty huge gaps between whoops! I had the most fun with the smaller ones which are fun to "rollercoaster", and I can still get some fun air on those without dropping into a ditch, lol.

(This video is super short, so don't blink, lol!)

Sweet video and your pretty good ! But with all the craze of back flips on dirt bikes and snowmobiles and even wheel chairs I think you should do one and video it for the world to see you would be the first

Thanks but the glaring difference is that all the things you mention have FREE wheels to build up speed and then coast into the whoops with speed and momentum. A Unicycle is a fixed wheel and there is just no way to hit the whoops with anywhere near the speed that would be crucial to do that. And even a fixie bike can go way faster than a uni. I do plan to go back and stay for hours practicing bigger jumps, bigger air, and trying 180's off the ramps.

However, someone (about 1/3 my age, haha) has already done a successful frontflip from a stack of pallets about 6 feet high! A backflip would be extremely dangerous on one wheel, and especially for me, being 2 weeks shy of my 54th b-day, lol! There have been a few static backflips OFF of a uni, but they all landed on the ground and not on the uni.

Thanks!!! I know Kris and he and some others can "glide" which is one foot on the crown while the other foot is on the front wheel as a "braking" and balance control. Uni-coasting is when BOTH feet are placed on the crown and totally off the pedals. Nobody--not even Kris holm can sustain true coasting for very long, and then only on smooth, even ground. Any attempt to try that trick on technical or uneven trail terrain would be extremely short lived...maybe a few feet at best, but absolutely no way you could coast up a whoop, lol!
