If it's any consolation I started a thread about these wheels a while back when I was looking for some. The LBS owner is on a team that is sponsored by American Classic and when i held one of his 29er wheels I was blown away how light they were. Brand new from that shop i could have gotten a set for about $600. They used to have problems with the hubs "blowing up" but in the newest design it is apparently fixed and don't have any problems. If you could find a nice used set for around $300 I would go for it. I'm still looking for some but don't have a job except to troll this place apparently.

Ive never posted a post like this in my almost 6 years on this site but you had this coming captain america.
I think that you are confusing CCC with some other poster. All of his/her postings are innocuous.

Such technical requirements...black with white lettering, that's so important in a set of wheels . Why these particular wheels and why are you having so much trouble finding them? I would've used the let me google that for you, too, but c3 beat me to it.

While I dont spend every waking moment on the site, I do frequent here alot. Ive made alot of friends and yes, this is the set of wheels I want. So, with that said, I posted that post so that my BF friends would see it and put the word out. For example..........

yo, saw ur post, jeremys gotta set look good too. hes at work till 6 but text him. Hes got 2 sets one spare one rider. out

Sent by Blackberry Mobile

You cant get these much anywhere new and the white ones are ugly as sin so, I put it out there. Simple. It worked and now they are on my bike.

CX3 Im sorry for being a dick but your kiddypost replies just pissed me off and I just wasnt able to keep it on the DL this time. Ill remove it.

Later.

Yeah, that might be a good idea...unless you want everyone to get in on it. I bet that stuff is more accepted in the roadie forum.
