Ok, a reasoning. When build my bike i went for the cheapest "coolest" looking stem i could find so i bought this no name carbon wrapped aluminum thing and have ridden it on every terrain. It has the 4 bolt clamp like that one and I use spacers due to bar stem size differences and it has never slipped. In short, I bought one of these cheap stems not know if it would work and it has been fine, just torque right.
