specialized photochromatic glasses?
My first post on this forum, so seasoned veterans bear with me, I'm not familiar with all the suttle neuainces of the group yet.
I've been heavy into mountain biking now for about a year. I go to school full time, during the summer however, i get to work, this means $, and obvioulsy new biking stuff. Recently, I've been looking into glasses to wear when riding. (Lots of twigs, bugs, mud, etcetra in the great state of IN (sadly no mountains)). During the past couple of months Specialized has been advertising a new campaign which features a picture of photochromatic riding glasses (basically the first ad in every industry related magazine). However, when looking on their site, talking to dealers, or even googling the topic, no one can tell me anything about them. There is one reference is this whole forum about them, nothing really to it though. I am always happy with specialized products, however, all of them have a downside and that is their cost. Bocku bucks. Does anyone know anything more about these glasses or any other company which makes photochromatic MTB glasses?

My local specialized dealer went to the new product show last week and said he'd have the '05 catalog and some demo products (mabye glasses...?) this week. I'll let you know if i find anything out
