Assuming you have a standard 1-1/8" headtube/headset, ought to fit fine.

You'll likely want to cut, unless you have a hella long headtube, or are okay with a biiiiiiiiig stack of headset spacers and riding with the stem or steer tube sticking up in your face.

It isn't rocket surgery. Get everything assembled. Figure out the minimum length you need to get the front end height where you like. Measure another 20-30mm above, and cut. Nice and straight with a hacksaw or a pipe cutter. If you have an old stem around, they make great cutting guides for hacksaws, if you think you may not keep it straight. De-burr the inside, clean up the outside edges with a file, assemble, and ride. If you don't have the tools or mechanical savvy to do all that, most shops can do that basic job fairly quickly and cheaply
