Price Check on 2007 Specialized Rockhopper

Hi,

I am considering purchase of a used 07 Specialized Rockhopper that has been upgraded substantially. Wondering if anyone out there can share insight on whether the $400 asking price is fair, assuming bike is in great condition as advertised? Here are the upgrades from the stock build (it is the standard Rockhopper, not disc):

- 27 Speed (upgraded from 24 speed)
- Brand New Cheng Shin Critter Rear Mountain Tire 26"x 2.1 (Upgraded from Specialized Fast Track. The CST Critter tire provides better traction)
- Custom Built Specialized Amber Hub (upgraded from Specialized Stock forged alloy 32h QR Hub)
- Race Face Carbon Fiber Seatpost (Upgraded from Specialized alloy micro adjust SP 30.9mm)
- Bontrager Race Lite Saddle (Upgraded from Specialized ATB saddle)
- Avid Brake Levers (Upgraded from Shimano EF-50s)
- Avid Shift Levers (Upgraded from Shimano EF-50s)
- Easton Monkey Lite Handlebar (Upgraded from Specialized Alloy HB 25.4mm XC Rise, 640mm wide, 8 degree back, 6 degree up sweep, 3.2mm thick)
- Ibis Grips (Upgraded from Specialized Enduro Grips)
- Shimano XT rear Derailleur (upgraded from Shimano Alivio M-410)
- SRAM PC-970 Chain ( Upgraded from Shimano HG-50, 1/2" x 3/32")
- SRAM PG-950 Cassette (Upgraded from Shimano HG-40, 8-speed, 11-32t)
- Chain Stay Protector (Upgraded from...stock didn't come with one)

Hmm...yeah, $400 is a bit steep considering my 2009 Rockhopper was $50 more.

Did you buy it new for that much? I don't see any below $540 online. sounds like you got a great deal.
