Looking for a new bike and need some help choosing (400-500)

You might have noticed my other post, just thought I'd whittle the list down based upon suggestions I've got and see if I could get some suggestions on which in these list you think is the best for me to buy.

Like I said before, I will use it quite a lot on roads (with quite a lot of hills, though rarely very steep) as well as the occasional light trail. Considering this, I want relative comfort, good breaks, something that looks good, something that won't need maintenance very often (as I'm not very skilled in that) and something that won't be a drag up the many (not very steep) hills that exist were I live. For me I'm stuck between the Aggressor XC 1 and the Cube analog. The XC-1 because it has good specs for the money (apparently) and looks pretty decent and I can collect it ready built from Halfords - the only concern is it has no lock on the fork and Hydraulic breaks might be a hassle to maintain???? And the Cube Analog, because it just looks absolutely amazing (look for yourself), but for the price I'm not sure if its really that great of a spec????

However, both the Dawes and the Specialised look interesting and decent specs for there slightly cheaper prices.

Tell me what you think!
