Is it worth it??

I have a 2007 Jamis hardtail mb.It has 7 speed shifters.Is it worth it to upgrade to 8 speed?I just ride if im lucky once a week so dint know if it's worth the trouble.Thanks

If it works, use it. Is there something in the way of a closer ratio you're hoping to achieve with the change? Depends on what you want as to whether it's worth it.
