Anyone have any issues with Trek Fuel frame?

Anyone have any issues with Trek Fuel frame?
Just checking. I have always liked Trek, especially from working in a shop when I was 15. Still do like them
Bought an '08 Fuel EX-9, as I was seriously concerned my '96 Y33 could fail, and this happened!
It could be I'm just too hardcore though!
I see no reason Trek won't honor their Lifetime warranty, and it doesn't tarnish my feelings for Trek, nor make me want to steer people away. I love the bike. Bad things happen though!
Just trying to see if anyone else has seen or heard of anything such as this!

I cracked a chainstay on my 04 3900 couple years back...and yes, Trek usually will honour their warranty. I received a new frame from then without hesitation. Trek is a great company, I will continue to buy their products!!

holy hell, that's one big crack
i just got my bike back from a warranty crack replacement
the 2008 ex 8 grew a crack above the BB, nothing nearly as bad as yours though, glad you didn't F yourself up too bad
had to wait 4 weeks and pay about 300 between labor and conversion parts for trek to send a 2010 ex 9 frame (with their new rear shock so that's not too bad).
good luck, they take their sweetass time

I am hoping not to be out 4 weeks, but hey, whatever. I already told the shop I bought the bike at I'll do the work, since at this point, I can't afford labor (warranty work rarely covers labor). As mentioned before, I used to work at a shop, so I am more than qualified to do any work on the machine.
I actually didn't even have any incident. Hadn't even gotten into the real stuff yet, just got out of the parking lot perhaps 2 minutes into a ride. Tapped the rear brake, and the bike sounded and started acting funny. Stopped, thought the rear wheel bearings had gone bad somehow. Finally saw the swingarm broken in two! Walked it back.
I actually hope they do not replace the whole frame, but rather have swingarms. I find that 2008 color scheme to be the best looking Fuel. I don't want any of the new ones!
