Proper bike fitting/asdjusting for XC or DH?

Just wondering how high you would set your seat post?

How far you would set the seat forward or backwards?

Now would these settings change for downhill?

Pretty much all things you would need to modify for riding, is there any decent web sites with a FAQ on how to modify these settings correctly?

Set your seat for XC to where your knees just slightly bend when you are on the full pedal extension.

Just outta curiosity what kinda of aprilia do you ride?
