Giant Warranty

Okay so I did a search on the mountain biking forums and I've heard mixed opinions. Giant is good, Giant is bad. Are they bad now? Are they good now? Were they good before, or are they bad now? Dang it, I want an STP 2 but I don't know if it's worth getting it if their warranty sux0rs real bad.

Well the threads where giant shafted tis guy on a ds1, the time where the rear shock kept on getting sent in the wrong model, and konarider himself saying I quote "Ah, another disatisfied giant customer. I used to be one of those" or something. Eh.

I hear yea. Honestly, I would shell out the couple extra bucks. You have to realize that the riding season is almost done. Unless you love snow. These last crucial days will be great. I think the extra money will be worth the ride.

LOL. My parents are paying 200 CDN. The rest is up to me. The entire bike is 680 plus tax, since I bargained, but I wanna take the tax off too.

Giants warranty is good but I have warrantied a lot of cracked frames in the past year. Mostly Yukon/Rincon/Iguanas and a handful of Warps... the other stuff holds up reasonably well though.
