Help needed to buy forks!!!
i just purchased a giant upland SE (i know its not the best bike but she'll do me) and i was wondering if anyone knows some cheap $100 - $300 AUD forks or if you hav any old forks ill even buy them if their in good condition

Check ebay, and also, check the fork guide. It's a sticky in the MTB forum. One of the ones in the upper section.

doesn't the upland SE have suspension forks? even if it does i dont know if judy tts are much of an improvement. it looks like US$140 so AUD$200? dont know about avvailability tho.

Okay first you have A fork, not forkS. Second you need to know whether the bike has a threadless or threaded headset, and whether its 1 1/8" or 1". I can't even find the bike on giant-bicycle.com and work at a Giant shop and have never seen one. Is it an older model? General rule of thumb though, if you are spending half as much as the bike costs on a fork, its probably just time to get a better bike that already has a good fork on it and better components to begin with.
