I'm not saying it would, but I've seen it happen on low end dual suspension bikes. Why out of curiosity would you want to put a fork on your Haro, when its almost as much as the Haro? I'm not trying to be a dick right now, but economically, that doesnt make much sense. Why not sell your Haro, and save for like a used Bullit or something? It would ride so much better, you wouldnt have to worry about breaking stuff.

Also, it won't break the headtube. If a cased a landing and happened to land in a way that pried the front end away from the rear, yes it probably would snap the headtube. I've seen high end bikes with snapped headtubes. And what if it does break. Oh well.
Good reason to buy another bike
