Riding in a salt mine

Hi I’m new. …. Well new to this forums, old to every place else.

I need info on riding in, access to, locations of, excreta. I’m looking for any thing that might be relevant to cycling in a salt mine. The information is for background flavor use in a novel. If you have personally raced underground in a mine your impressions would be of great interest to me.

I have never heard of an underground race before, least of all in a salt mine.

You could probably kiss your chain goodbye when you returned to the surface.

Actually, red bull had this race down a salt mine in Germany or they did last year anyway. They had a big article in Dirt Magazine a while ago.

Doode, is it more possible that you'd die on that track than any other track on the world? IF you fall, it's hello hot ash, goodbye armor!

I don't think words can really express how cool that sounds.
