Brodie Brat - What Year? How much to sell for? [pics]

Well, I know nothing about bikes and got this bike from my brother when he moved away. I'm wondering how do I tell what year Brodie Brat this is? and if anybody has any guesstimates/ranges for how much dough I can get for it.

Sorry for the newb question. That is all.

Pictures show a low level build.

Couple-hun at the very most, but I'd have to physically check the bearings and drivetrain wear to confirm that number.
