Are suspension frames compatible with solid frames? and whats a good fork?
I have a cheap mountain bike that im planning on adding a suspension fork to (entry level one, nothing too expensive) and id like to add suspension frame but it would be a while down the road. Would all of the components swap directly over or are they built differently?
Also are the suntour xcr forks any good? ive seen a few new on ebay for $50 or so and it says they have about 100mm of travel

You need to make sure your fork will fit in your head tube. Other than that, I don't know about xcr. I run a fox on my mtb.
