There are so many that I just included the most notable and seen for the most part. But that could be regional too. I have over the years spent way too much at Performance but Jenson has to be a close second with this last build I did. Either way you slice it, I have used them all (one's listed) for one thing or another to get a great deal.

Forgot Wheel World as well but only ordered one thing from them. Universal as well, I have bought a few things from them as well.

I wish we had a thread here where we could list all the vendors for easy access for members to go to. There are alot I have never heard of that I see from time to time in post and when I go to the link they have something or another I could have gotten cheaper for that particular item from them.

Guess this thread can serve as that!

Damn, wish I was riding today but the weather SUXS! Rain here all day but we need it. Tomorrow looks promising. I want to get some ride time in before I leave to go to China!

CRC, or my LBS. Can't wait to move back somewhere with reasonable sales tax, 25% is killing me.

Domestically, I use a combination of Universal Cycles, Pricepoint and JensonUSA. I don't have a particular favorite among them. Now that I'm over in Germany, I tried out CRC for a pair of tires. They had the UST tires that were non existent with the three web stores I usually go with. Reasonable prices and free shipping which was pretty quick.

How'd you manage the free shipping from CRC? I was about to pick up a couple of tires and some bolts, and shipping is 1/2 the cost of the order.

That would probably be a good thing to boil down into a comprehensive sticky. Just like the DIY projects/plans sticky I never got around to compiling. If someone with way too much time on their hands were to do that, we could stick it up and then leave open for any other additions.

I used to have most of the online superstores linked on my own MinorThreat Racing web site; but it too has not been updated in too many moons.

BN, don't forget that if it's a specific item and you want a quick price rundown, there is Best Bike Buys and QBike that both search outfits like Jenson, PricePoint, etc. all at once and spit out results. The trouble with both is they don't survey all of the known good ones.

True, but I think the thread was aimed mostly at general bike retailers rather than specific brands (ie - Trek, Specialized, Giant, etc). Bikesdirect exclusively sells their own house brands. Still good prices though.

This should be a sticky in its own subforum with all the other stickies that no one reads.

You might want to read his reply again, he said BikeTIRESdirect, not BikesDirect. That said, I have used Biketiresdirect if they have stuff in stock since they are one day shipping for me. I also have used Tree Fort Bikes if I can wait awhile.
