BIG switch
hey everyone,
this is my first post on this GREAT looking forum. the name's Shane, and i'm a decently well experienced 13 year old mountainbiker.
now that i'm done introducing myself to everyone, i'll cut to the chase, i have been riding a 24" Trek Mt. Track 240, until just today, when my brand new, 2004 Iron Horse Hollowpoint Expert full suspension bike came in. dad bought it from Bicyclebuys and boy what a buy it was. the bike is simply BEAUTIFUL and although i haven't yet ridden it, i can guarantee that i could recommend this bike to anyone involved in the sport, it includes Shimano Deore XT front/rear deraileurs and shifters, Hayes hydraulic disc brakes, Shimano MP540 clipless pedals, and loads of other goodies. the seat is AWESOME looking (and the rest of the bike too). The fork is specifically designed for this bike by Manitou, and the rear shock is a Manitou Swinger Air 3-way. there's too much good stuff about this bike to post, but if anyone else has one of these, tell me what you think about it.
also see the link to the bike at: https://www.ironhorsebikes.com/produc...l/expert.shtml

btw rasheed, we have read reviews that the seat gets pretty uncomfortable after little bit, is this true??? i have been riding with a real bike seat that fairly thin, so i know kind of what it's like, what's your opinion???
i think the price was around $1300-$1400

yup, a real big jump, i'm very confident that i'll enjoy it.
all the parts are put on, except we forgot to put the washers between the pedals and the crank. everything else is just adjustments.

as for my opinion on the saddle, i love it. if the one i currently have bites the dust, most likely i'm going to get another.

ur right, the saddle is a Fi'z:k Nisene, were just saying that it's awesome looking
but if you think the saddle's nice, you should see the hubs.
after i get it finished, i'll post some closeups of the pretty parts.
