    used bike price

Just wondering if anybody could give me some advise on selling my bike. I have a 2005 Trek 820 which Iíve only had for about a month. Its essentially brand new. However, Iím already looking to upgrade. It is a great bike for what it is but I guess Iím just looking to get something a little nicer. I know Iím probably going to take a pretty good hit on this thing when I sell it, but I was just curious what price I could reasonably expect to get for it. I paid $230. Also, would there be a better time to sell it, for example next spring could I maybe get a better price for it when more people are probably going to want to start riding? Any info is most appreciated.

You should be able to get a fair amount for it. At $230 with TREK, it might surprise you how stupid some people are. I'd start at $175 and settle on $150.
