upgrade suggestions
so i have been riding my DB response sport for a little over two years now and i have no complaints considering the price level of the bike (i paid $250 used) but i have been thinking about upgrading. unfortunately a new bike is not in the budget and most likely won't be for a while. my plan is to gradually upgrade parts through online sales, swap meets and eBay. What i am looking for is suggestions for the most value per dollar parts and what you think should be replaced first. i will be doing all the work my self so shop fees won't come into the picture. i am also not trying to go to crazy with the $$$ i would like to stay under $600.
This is the stock bike.

I always read about this bike now that I have it and have found the tires, pedals and forks are the main issue. But after 2 years I wonder why some say this. I think its all what your doing and how you ride but think its a good starting point.

...Sorry, I just read your name as DBoob.
What don't you like about the Diamondback? Start with the parts you're dissatisfied with. However, if it were me, since you have $600 to spend, which is more than the bike cost in the first place, I'd probably save up just a little bit more for something a little nicer. Like this or this. Or maybe even an FS like this. Or see if any stores have this on closeout.
