South Georgia Riders....Flat Rock Park Trails Columbus, GA
I just rode the Flat Rock Park Trails in Columbus, GA and I really enjoyed the park, BUT MAN are those trails terribly marked! After two miles from the trailhead, the course goes into a huge field and the markers stop...I spent a good while trying to find the starting point for the rest of the route, no luck. I found parts of it here and there but it aggravates me not being able to do the entire trail start to finish.
Anyone else ride these trails?? |
Used to take the bouncy bike there, back when I was gnar ('99-'00) to launch the rocks.
The more gooder trails are 'Trail of Tears' along the river..........but you'll need a guide there as well. |

Here's a map of the trails. It's been a while since I was there, but yeah, it can be confusing the first time around, especially looking for the paint on some of the rock sections, and on the back side where the trail re-enters the woodline on the other side of the lake. Hope that helps. |
thanks for the info...I just checked the link and I think its broken.

I ride flat rock quite often
|
I'm right across the river in Auburn, we ride in Tuskegee quite a bit bc its 15 mins away. Might take a weekend over there soon though.

I want to make my way up there about 1.5 hours for me. We have some local trails @ Troy university and Ft Rucker. Most have to head north toward Mongomery for better trails.
