North Coast Mountain Bikers Club 1st Ice Race of the season!

Living here in the Cleveland Ohio area basically means that winter is the longer season. So when the temperature drops and the snow starts flying you can either sit in the house and do nothing or get out and ride. Like any other real club we find away to get out and ride! This past Sunday Findley Lake at Findley State Park finally froze over enough for us to start our annual Ice races.. Here are a few pictures from this past weekend...

Looks like fun. On Sunday I was riding my road bike past Chippewa Lake and saw the lake was frozen up. I'm surprised there were no ice fishermen out near Picnic Piont at Findley.

I'm planning to ride the trails in Regan Park tonight, hope the trails are broken into the snow cover.
