riding again 2 months after breaking my elbow (xray pic)

Crashed on some hard pack breaking my left elbow and spraining my right ankle. 1st time ever breaking a bone. Had surgery to install a titanium plate w/ 8 screws. That was my 1st surgery as well. Healing is going well.

I'll start physical therapy soon. In the meantime I've been stretching/bending my elbow with great success. Little by little I'm getting more movement.

Doc told me there was 2 pieces that were floating around and a lot of fragment.

Congratulations - that looks like a nasty fracture, but the fact that you are making good progress with PT is a good sign.

Thanks. Doc told me I did a good job for my 1st break(s). Through out the whole time I would do little finger/wrist exercises to avoid them 'locking up'. They still did and I'm getting more movement day to day as I continue to do exercises.

Not at all. Of course, I had to work on that. After surgery I had a temporary splint (obviously) and could only type with one hand.

Way to go.

I haven't broken anything yet. One surgery for me so far: ACL replacement after 30+ years of playing soccer. I broke a few bones on others inadvertently 8-$ but never had the "pleasure" as it were.

Only calamity on an MTB was an endo resulting in a type 2 shoulder separation. I was timid for a few months of riding but eventually got back to my old ways.
