In have had success cleaning my rotors with alcohol and light steel wool. If your pads got contaminated, you either need to replace them or clean them. There is a process you can clean them by putting on a type of industrial de-greaser and putting them in the oven at 350 for a few hrs and then cleaning them, but I only did it once, my wife said she didn't care if the pads were new, next time I either needed to just buy a new pair or use someone else's house. It did stink the place up.

good luck

Def. use alcohol and clean the crap outta the rotors. Dish soap'n'water, alcohol...repeat a few times. Then buy new pads.

Ive done that. I used a brake parts cleaner from oreilly's auto parts, it cleaned all the oil off and wont leave any residue, i still use it as a cleaner every couple months.
