Someone give me a nudge - 2004 Kona Stinky

I'm not about to give up my 2005 Kona Kula; it's everything I want in a pure XC thoroughbred. Light, fast, tight!

I don't have a ton of $$$ either ... but ...my LBS has a 2004 Kona Stinky at winter clearance and I'd love to get something to take along with my Kula that will let me get some big air and heavy hits. They want $1400 but I'll bet I can get it for around $1250. It's been test ridden a little, not much. A little dusty, that's about it. Should I try and put the deal together or can I get a better mate for my Kula in a different bike? (all better recommendations welcome)

That's what I try to tell my wife but it seems to make no sense to her ('you can only ride one bike at a time ...')!

Yup! You got me thinkin' about it and lo & behold they had one on the rack and just the right size! Amazing, because they are virtually out of inventory right now. 'There are no such things as coincidences.'

So, do you have a trail review of your new Stinky for us yet?

I got a Stinky Dee-Lux about 20 days ago. I have never been more impressed with a bike. The sinky is worth a lot more than $1250, It would be a shame if you let that deal slip away. You'll regret it for a long time.
