Fork Air pressure

I have a Brodie Fury with a marzocchi EXR Pro fork. I currently have about 60 PSI of pressure in it and a buddy said I should lower it to about 40 - 45 PSI. I weight in at 185 lbs and ride both on and off road. What do you guys run? BTW the EXR is an air only fork, no coil. Thanks.
