Help needed on this Cannondale F2000
Hello all,
I'm in the process of acquiring another MTB. This deal came up and thought I'd try and see if anyone could provide answers. The guy said he's selling it for his buddy. What he states is that the is practically a new '02 F2000. The frame size he states is Jumbo. Bikepedia states for this model and year frame sizes of Jumbo, large, medium, small, xlarge The pic seems like this is a XL frame. He said his buddy is 6'7". I'm 6'3", and I'm not sure if I should go with a XL frame or Jumbo. Also it seems that the model and year he's giving me, Cannondale installed a Headshok Lefty ELO. Clearly that is not what is on the bike. Either is the 24 hole rims. I point that out to him and said his buddy's bike was a custom made bike.
So what's the deal on this bike? Does it look all original to you? Would a jumbo frame work for me, or should I look for an XL? I know I can go and check it and see, but it's 50 miles away and would rather try to get some info on what he has here. The bike he said was only ridden a handful of times by this dotcom bigwig. And the price of $500 sounds inviting.
And most importantly, anything that was problematic for this bike?
