got a flick! but need help

Hey i finnaly got a manitou sherman flick and i need help


how do i put a star nut in the steer tube? do i just smash the thing in ?

You need a tool to set it properly, but yes it is just pounded in. Once its in, its pretty much in there so be sure you get it straight and set to the right depth.

I would definately ask a shop to show you. In theory it is easy however one mistake could break the nut.

Just bring it to a shop and have them show you.....or borrow the tool from there. Its not hard, just need the right stuff.
