I heard people got sponsored through winning local races or basically just through good "connection" with the LBS. Winning some races will definitely get you somewhere.
Also, learn to use punctuations also help when writing proposals and the like.

I don't think that anyone would even consider sponsoring a person who won't take the time to type out full words. when people use AOLese it really says something about their maturity (and not in a good way generally). To help you out though, I don't know of many people who get sponsored for doing jumps with their friends. People sponsor riders because they want to get their name out, especially at competitions. Start entering competitions (I don't know of any competitions just for doing jumps though) or races, and then if you start doing well it is your first step towards getting sponsored... good luck

Sponsorship doesn't come because of how well you ride. It comes from exposure and attitude. Find someone making a movie and get yourself in there. Get someone with a camera and get some pics and get some shots in mags. Heck even hop onto forums and show your work online. What you can do is pretty much meaningless (sorry to be harsh) but really, I know about 50 riders who are droping 20 ft, djing AND pulling backflips, barspins, you name it. Plus they race, plus they live the lifestyle to get them exposed. HEck I know 5 or 6 that should be sponsored (best street and djers I have seen) that don't want sponsorship...know why..its WORK...takes the fun from a session when you have to pull a one footer manual to 360 kickflip/tabletop...and the if you don't land it, thats money out of yer pocket...

Being sponsored is overated, unless you are at the pro/amateur level, you've going to be putting up some dough for parts. Granted its less than retail, but if you just want cheaper parts, work at a bike shop. I get Chris King stuff ridiculously cheap. Also, sponsors can be *****es by making you run some of their ****** parts. Also, your typing is soo bad, I cant imagine someone would sponsor you.(Just kidding)

Win a race then ask the question. Its MUCH easier to get noticed from winning a race then dropping 10 feet.

In Aus one guy I rode with a while back got a grassroots sponsorship from Kona for freeride. He only got it because
A) Ge was connected to Kona by Grant Allen
B) He is bloody brilliant. He was doing 30ft drops 40ft gaps and things like no footed cancans and rockstars and one handed superman seat grabs. All in a video that he sent to Kona.
Until you van get a bit bigger and get connected or exposure, you ain't getting sponsorship. Hell this guy doesn't even have a full sponsorship, he just got a Kona Stinky Supreme for cost and will get more exposure.
