If you've got a better bike than your buddies...
... you'll find that in a year or two, they will have the better bike. This is definately happening to me at the moment. Ive got a Craftworks FRM125 (6 inch duallie) and one of my friends is getting a '05 Giant DH Comp and the other a Mongoose DH (Hopper).
I want a new bike but i know i cant get one

Thats what happens......new technology comes out every year, and makes things obsolete. The CW is a sweet frame though, I remember seeing it awhile ago in Jenson....

Yeah it is a very nice frame. But like you said, everyone is getting something better every year so its getting a bit old. I guess I'll just ride it hard until it breaks (If it ever does) then buy a new frame.

The white and blue was is the 2004 version, the lime green is a 2003, i much prefer the lime green compared, but the 05 metallic black is nice

I know that if I adjust this bit here, reposition that and oil or grease those new bits to get them running free it'll be OK, but in the meantime I'll ride the old bike cos it works better, I trust all the bits on it, and it fits me.

Yeah they're designed here in Adelaide although they're built overseas. Look out at any national DH round you might see a new S1 or an old DHR208.
The orange fork does look pretty good but i'm looking at replacing it- hopefully in the next couple of weeks.
